Hi Siestas!
It has been awhile since I posted here. I hope you are having a great kick off to summer.
I just got back from LPL Wyoming and Colorado. We had a great time and I am thankful to God for providing the way and to Holly and Chris for their generosity!!
I had one of our siestas ask me to start a roll call for the summer Bible study.
If you are planning on doing the study with Beth and the Siestas would you mind leaving your name and how many you have in your group OR if you are doing it solo we would love to know that too. This can be a way to connect with your Siestas who may live closer to you than you realize and God could place you together for the study! How fun would that be?
Okay, I am in Middle Tennessee and my friend Georgia and I are planning on doing this so Nikki and Abby and anyone else in the area of NashVegas, maybe we can get together and do the study together. :) We need to talk. ;)

p.s. My family and myself are dealing with a dire need right now and I may be away from the blog for awhile. Dori and Holly will be here to keep the blog going.
My desire was to have a birthday giveaway for each month but due to my circumstances I will have to postpone that for the time being. This really saddens my heart because I love to give surprises to y'all but I do believe God will allow me to continue that once my family has come out of this hard season.

Well, I know that I'm doing "Me, Myself and Lies" with the Siestas on LPM. I have yet to ask my neighbors--that is a this week thing to do.

I plan to do it solo, but would love to forge some new friendships - that would make going to Houston in January all by myself even more fun - if I recognize some siestas when I get there! Anyway, I'm in Vero Beach, FL for June, Long Beach Island, NJ for July, then back to FL in August. Any siestas in those areas?
Wanted to comment on siesta eleanor comment about meeting some seista's for the Jan conference I would also like to meet some seista's to. To be able to meet up for the conference I live in Albuquerque nm

Wanted to let you know, also, that I'll be facilitating a study of Proverbs and a book club ("Parenting by The Book", by John Rosemond) both via my blog @ gottawearshades.blogspot.com - would love to expand our reach beyond our small group from Christ Church Vero Beach (FL). I'll be kicking off the book club later today, and the Bible study starts next Wednesday. I don't believe either one will be so time consuming that they'll interfere with "Me, Myself & Lies" which I'm eagerly awaiting.

I will be doing the study with one friend. We have a youth camp for four weeks where we are pouring into 2400 teenagers and I thought this would be a good way to pour into each other during this time. Thanks for the opportunity.

I am actually doing two studies this summer.
I'm doing No Other Gods with the girls in my small group at church on Sunday nights.
I will be doing MM&L with the LPM Siestas this summer, too, but doing it on my own. I think one small group study is all I can fit on my calendar this year.

How do you become a Siesta?? LOL..Im kinda new at this but am so very interested in doing this summer study..I am a busy stay at home mom of two toddlers and really need to get in the word. I know several ladies but we meet every thursday for prayer time at 7 and only 3 women show up now and everyone else seems so busy. I do realize i need accountability. I live about 25 min from Nashville but You can do this study online correct?
