SIESTAS!!!!
We are going to provide a Mr. Linky at the end of this post for those who are writing or going to write about the Siesta Fiesta on your blog. This will be an easy way to visit with each other and a great way to share our pictures and special stories from the weekend AND YOU CAN DO MULTIPLE POSTS. IF YOU SIGN YOUR NAME AGAIN JUST PUT BESIDE YOUR NAME 2nd POST ETC.... I know we all have a ton of pictures to post! WE LOVE YOU!!!
I will post our thoughts in a just a little bit!!
I don't know where to begin. It is so hard to put into words the emotions I am feeling right now over the entire weekend. Kim and talked this morning and prayed together and I miss her so much but we will plan a trip for the 2 of us in the near future.
We want to thank you for the gifts you gave us!!! We were so touched by your thoughtfulness and kindness. We were so excited to see you face to face and hug your necks. It was a joy and an honor to meet you and I thank God for giving us this chance. You all are so beautiful, inside and out!! I will never forget Friday afternoon as you all were coming to the Dome and up to the registration table. How fun was that?? I wish that we could have had more time at that point to hug and take pictures but the lines were long but I am thankful for the time we had at that point.
It was sweet of Amanda to come up and visit with us and I know a few of you had your picture taken with her and we want to see them. :)
We need to thank Sabrina, LPM's Director and her beautiful daughter for helping us at registration!! What a servants heart they both have and thank you for the water Sabrina!!!
One of my favorite photos I took was on Friday night after Beth had taught the Word and Travis was ending the night with praise to Almighty God! I took pictures of your sweet faces, as did Kim, and it was, to use the word I am using a lot in this post, beautiful!!! You can't even know the love God has given Kim and I for all of you!! To say you are special is such an understatement!!
Also, you all or ya'll are so much fun. I will never forget our Northerner siestas speaking with a southern drawl!! The Prof cracked me up saying ya'll and Melana was doing a great job to!!
Miesta Moose, HELLO... Miesta Moose, our Siesta mascot here on the ole blog and at our events and any trips we might organize. LOVED the moose!!!
The testimonies we heard, brought me to tears. You all have gone and are going through difficult seasons in your life and as Beth taught us, not by chance, but our life experiences!! We are Heiresses! Girls, we have an inheritance!! I am certain God will have all us close together in heaven, can you imagine having a siesta pajama party in heaven one day? God has to let us have karaoke if only for Brooke!!! Oh, and pink cowgirl or heiress hats!!! Too, cute!!!
Kim and I laughed so hard at the Quest game at the p.j. party. Kate Stoker doing the worm will go down as one of the funniest moments at the p.j. party. Elizabeth , that girl can do the splits!! She is my hero. LOL
Jenny, Jenny, Jenny.....what do I say about Jenny....YOU are the ROCKSTAR!!! LOL
Here are a few things I heard this weekend and I know this may not make sense to some but I have to post this:
Lisa, you have your own door.
SILENT TREATMENT (GARMAN)
Instrumental, Georgia and Brooke during karaoke singing instrumental as well as the words. :)

Since I can't do words yet...Ha!...I'm all about pictures.
I miss y'all! Really. I'm sad this morning. Why am I not laughing so much at home???
But, remember what Beth said...
"We are not a bore!"
I miss you all SO much. :)
Looking forward to reading and seeing everyone's pictures!
Love
steph.
I loved all the "snippets" of conversation, but I have to tell you that I'm baffled! Is that GARMAN me? 'Cause I have no recollection of "silent treatment"!! :o)
SO love you all - each and every Siesta! I'm with Fran - it is kinda quite around here today, but NOT boring!
XOXO
Glad to hear you guys had so much fun! I wish I could have been there. I was praying for you guys ... helped me not fall asleep during the early morning feedings :)
left my blog, can't even put it all into words yet, but I will, still lots to catch up on around the house,
wendy
Ok...yes....it was me (Brittney @ lopsided halo) who walked into a military conference yelling "hello siestas." They were in full salute when me and pretty pink PJ's walked in! In shock I froze, put my hand over my heart, gave a salute and ran out of there!!!
Oh the memories...I just love it! I miss you all sooooo much :) We must must must do this again!
It was a great idea to do these links! What an awesome weekend!
I miss you all
I'm sure I'll have much more to say another day, but for now, I wrote a little something :)
Love ya'll!

This is so much fun. I am doing my posts by days, because there is SO much to write about!
Love you all!

Patty,
You & Kim did a fabulous job planning and organizing our entire weekend with everyone! I loved all the constant "chatter" & "squeals"!! It was a great weekend to soak in and I'm still recalling little phrases, thanks for the list!
We have a whole slew of very talented Siestas from every corner of the country--'scuse me--the world! Y'all are a beautiful group of heiress'!
I can't wait to see more pictures!
Is there a way we can download pics. I think I mentioned this in another post that my camera wasn't working well and I need some for my scrapping!
BTW, Fran hit the nail on the head--"We are not a bore!"
Thanks for the links, you ladies are awesome!
It was an awesome weekend!
I'm up!
(I'm excited to think I might have more than I person read my blog ROFLLLLLL!!!)
I understand the love you have - it's a beautiful gift God bestowed on us. I love you too! Thank you thank you for all you and Kim did!
It was fun. Not enough time to visit with everyone but I adored all of you. Can I just say that the three siestas with the black "Siesta" shirts were so talented in making them! The "t" in Siesta was in the shape of a cross. I just loved that.
Just wanted to say thank you again for all your hard work. What a wonderful weekend!
I have loved reading over everyones posts from their weekend.
I was so bummed to have missed it after having looked forward to it for so long. I ended up mailing my tickets to a friend that lives in TX. (I would be lying to say I was all BIG about blessing someone else with the tickets- remember when Beth asked us in one of the weeks of the NOG's study about an "envelope" we couldn't let go of? This for a few days was my literal envelope). I knew God told me exactly who to give them to though. After even more prayer on her part, she gave them to someone else who was able to use my two tickets. I was so surprised to get an e-mail from my friend this morning and found out how the tickets were used.
One was given to a daughter who was then able to go with her mother that was already attending. The other was still available. Everytime they tried to give it to someone it just didn't work out. So they just held onto it and took it with them to San Antonio. When they arrived at the LPL event there was a very young girl standing there looking nervous and ready to leave. They started talking and she told them that this was her first Beth Moore event, she had a bought a ticket from someone but they weren't there yet and she was just going to leave... they gave her the other ticket.
I knew God would use the tickets to bless two women. I think it was cool I got to hear how he blessed them.
Cara - sorry for the long comment :) I just had to share!
Thanks so much, Kim & Patty!!
Y'all did a phenomenal job - your sweet smiles and selfless hearts blessed so many of us. Thanks for EVERYTHING!
Thanks again, girls! You did an AMAZING job and I hope you were blessed!!
You are all RockStars!!!
This was the best idea y'all!
Oh my goodness! I am going to need another weekend to visit all of these blogs! I just love seeing all of your photos! I may even snag a few for my book.=)
Thanks, Ladies! Your hard work was appreciated! I wish I'd gone to more of the Fiesta...hopefully next time!
My link just goes to all my posts about the weekend. I may not post again for a month.
Thanks to all who were involved in making it happen. It was such a tremendous blessing. From someone who can be a bit of a detail-a-holic... things went so smoothly.
And I'm laughing pretty hard at Lopsided halo right now. That's funny.

Second one is up! Last one will be all pics! :)
Thanks again for everything! It was an incredible week-end! I have been trying to explain to people about what I did and how wonderful it was but they just don't quite get it. That is o.k. because WE get it. So where is everyone going in 2009? I am ready to make hotel reservations!
Much love!
Kristi B.
hey girls - I soooooooooooooo wanted to be there - but He is faithful and did show me some things in His Word. He is so sweet!! Love you all and want so badly to meet you all next time. Maybe you all could come to our conference in September 2009. Amanda's husband is speaking!
Love to all, Leigh
I'm still speechless! I am missing my Siesta's real bad. It was an awesome weekend. Thanks for all you did to make it happen. Memories light the corners of my mind! WOO HOO
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, talk about D-E-T-A-I-L-S! God Bless each of you in a totally fabulous way. Looking at the blogs captures each moment so perfectly. I wasn't there in person, but in spirit and now through everyone's recollections.
Love and Blessings, Debbie in Tennessee
I loved the conference. I have been reading this blog for some time, but for whatever reason, never "joined in".
I have posted some of my recap, but not all...what God did in my life will be a series of posts!
I look forward to reading all of yours!
It was great!! Hard to put into words!
Kim and Patty,
You are the best!! Ya'll did an awesome job with the Fiesta. Take a break girls and rest.
I've put the link to my recap on here. Thanks for providing this as well.

I miss everyone and am having such withdrawels... I have been on an emotional high since Friday evening and love all the ladies I have met.
I am sad and hope we can have another Siesta Reunion soon!
Love you and Blessings on your day girls.

Last post, done!
Help!!! Ya'll don't need to post this comment, but I accidentally typed in just my blog name and not the actual living proof post.... so the link will take them straight to my blog rather than the post on the event. Here is the right one if you want to edit it:

If not, I guess others can find it. ..... not that that many people would go to is. Just thought I'd let somebody know.
thanks

Hey! You have probably figured this out, but I made a typo in link 46 and it does not work, so I fixed it in link 48. =)
I have enjoyed reading all your blogs and seeing the great photos you all took!
Kim & Patty:
Thank you both for your servant hearts and for working tirelessly for the Siesta Fiesta. God will bless you in ways beyond our knowledge...till we reach Glory!
What a great weekend of praise and fellowship, and awesome Bible study with Mrs. Beth. I loved seeing Amanda and Melissa too - they are all so much fun.
I am so blessed because I came and thank the Lord for the opportunity. It was just FUN!!!
Thank you again,
Georgia Jan

I just posted on my blog for the first time ever. I have 2 posts today and both are about our San Antonio fun and adventures, so keep reading down to see both posts and pictures. I've got more pics with more siestas in them, and I will post them tomorrow I hope. For some reason, my family wants me to fix supper, wash clothes, vacuum, etc...
okay, Siestas. I finally did it. My first post on my first real blog. Don't know that anyone will read it, but I actually did the thing! Hope you are having an amazing week...I can't believe it's been a whole week since we were in San Antonio!!
I've posted my favorite recaps! Thanks for sharing all of these links with us...
